With the discovery of the Orkhon Inscriptions / Kokturk Inscriptions, where we have the opportunity to examine the stages of development of the ancient Turkish language and which provide a source about the life, culture and history of our ancestors, various studies were carried out in the scientific world, especially in the field of Turkology. Prof. Dr. Cengiz Alyılmaz, one of the Turkologists working on the inscriptions, personally visited the regions where the Köktürk Inscriptions were found and documented the inscriptions. Alyılmaz prepared projects for the protection and preservation of the inscriptions in Mongolia, and contributed to the establishment of the Höşöö Tsaídam Museum, where historical artifacts excavated from the region are exhibited.
