Türk dili, asırlar boyu süren egemenliğini Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kurulmasıyla birlikte taçlandırmış; gelişme ve araştırma sahasını genişletmiştir. Ulu önder Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK’ün önderliğinde Türk dilinin araştırılması ve zenginliğinin ortaya çıkarılması için 12 Temmuz 1932’de Türk Dil Kurumu kurulmuştur. İlk toplantılarını 26 Eylül 1932’de yapan Türk Dil Kurumu, aynı günü de Dil Bayramı ilan etmiştir. 100 yıldan fazla süredir her dört yılda bir 26 Eylül’de kurultay düzenlenmekte; Türklük bilimiyle ilgili çalışmalar meydana getiren bilim insanları bildirilerini sunmaktadır. Aynı zamanda Dil Bayramı da coşkuyla kutlanmaktadır. Çalışmada 26-27 Eylül 2024 tarihinde Ankara’da Türk Dil Kurumu’nun yeni binasında gerçekleştirilen ve 21 ülkeden 167 bilim insanını bir araya getiren X. Uluslararası Türk Dili Kurultayı hakkında bilgi verilmektedir.

The Turkish language crowned its centuries-long sovereignty with the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and expanded its field of development and research. Under the leadership of the great leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, the Turkish Language Institute was established on July 12, 1932 to research the Turkish language and reveal its richness. The Turkish Language Association held its first meetings on September 26, 1932 and declared the same day as Language Day. For more than 100 years, a congress has been organized every four years on September 26, and scientists who have created studies on the science of Turkishness present their papers. At the same time, Language Day is also celebrated with enthusiasm. This study provides information about the Xth International Turkish Language Congress, which was held in the new building of the Turkish Language Association in Ankara on September 26-27, 2024 and brought together 167 scientists from 21 countries.
