From past to present, it has always been a matter of curiosity which approach and method will be used to teach language in the field of Teaching Turkish to Foreigners. Language teaching methods have been one of the primary education methods researched since language has a vital importance in terms of providing communication in human life. Over time, studies have been handled in a more scientific way as education and training become systematic. The approaches and methods found were grouped under the headings of 'behavioral, cognitive and constructive' based on the difference of opinion. Constructivist approach, which is one of the most used approaches in Turkey and in the world today, has seen language as a communication tool and has developed some methods to be used in language teaching as a result of his studies on this subject. Among these methods, the eclectic method is one of the most used language teaching methods. Based on this importance, in this study, it is aimed to examine and evaluate the eclectic method, one of the methods used in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners, in terms of teacher opinions. Among the methods, the positive and negative features of the eclectic method, which is actively used in education, were compiled from the perspectives of teachers. In this study, qualitative research methods were used. In line with the findings obtained in the research; It has been determined that instructors prefer the eclectic method more than other methods in teaching Turkish to foreigners and designing course activities. One of the reasons for this choice is that the students have different characteristics and the subjects covered in the course must be explained using different methods and techniques. It has been observed that when the method is used correctly, students develop positive attitudes towards the course and the method. This situation was considered as an advantage by the teachers and it was determined that they did not encounter many problems while using the method. It is thought that the obtained data will guide the teachers in choosing the eclectic method.
